Profile of Dr. Bruce Dixon
Dr Bruce Dixon was born in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia in 1960. He graduated MBBS from the University of Queensland in 1983. After 4 years at the Royal Brisbane Hospital he became the Medical Superintendent of the Goondiwindi Hospital in 1988 and has practiced in Goondiwindi since then. He has a Diploma of Obstetrics (DRANZCOG) and is a Fellow of the RACGP and ACRRM. He is an examiner for the DRANZCOG as well as an instructor for ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics). His special interests are Obstetrics, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine and General Practice. He has a strong interest in medical education – to medical students, midwives, GP registrars and colleagues.
